More Time

I've got a mountain of books taller than me I desperately want to read.

Half of a manuscript to give a final polish. (I'm loving this one, guys. Seriously loving it.)

A pumpkin to carve with my daughter. (How did Halloween sneak up so fast?)

A Rapunzel birthday party to plan for next weekend.

Winter squash raviolis to make from scratch.

All the laundry to fold.

Hmmmm... Which one of these do we think is going to fall off this list first? I don't know about you, but I see nothing wrong with leaving the laundry in its baskets. It's clean--who cares if it's all wrinkled, right?

What's your writing priority this week?

I'm on a deadline for some edits and the snowstorm and power outage had put me behind.

I'm completely jealous that you know how to make ravioli from scratch. ;-P

ooo, I love to hear that you're loving your WIP. that's the state we all want to be in.
I like the sound of your list--fun and yummy except for laundry!

I'm writing a first draft. Hope to have it done by spring. I'm in the "like" stage with it right now. So glad you're loving your WIP. That's a great feeling.

And those squash ravioli sound perfect for fall.

I have to make a decision about NaNoWriMo. I might as well do it since I don't have any big WIPs right now.

Housework has fallen by the wayside for me.

My long-suffering husband doesn't say much about it. My house used to be a lot cleaner before I started writing historical fiction.

But it's too late to turn back now!

I don't know Stephanie once I read winter squash ravioli I just couldn't concentrate on anything else. That sounds so good right now! Will you be posting the recipe hehe?

I made ravioli from scratch .... once. Rolled the dough way too thin and they exploded everywhere. All that work... Never got the energy to try them again. Good luck with yours!

I'm not sure about you, but I plan on giving up anything domestic for the next month. lol

I'm trying NaNo this year.

Today is my day to do everything I can possibly accomplish before NaNo starts tomorrow. But I regularly leave the clean laundry in the dryer for a couple days until I feel I have time to deal with it. What's the harm?

So, are you tackling the mountain of books?

Happy Halloween!

Good luck with everything, Stephanie! Especially the winter squash ravioli - my mouth is just watering at the thought of it. My writing priority is getting my novel revised! It's slow going, though. Hopefully I can get SOMETHING done this week. Happy Halloween!

These NaNo people on Facebook posting their stats are putting me to shame. I hope to get some writing in tomorrow. Then again, I said that yesterday.

I hope you've gotten a chance to tackle your manuscripts.

And I hear you about the mountains of books!
