This is the pile of notes that have accumulated on my bedside table since I've been back from my research trip.
Can you tell I'm having a hard time sleeping lately?
I feel like a mad scientist, jotting down random snippets of prose or plot ideas. I swear the rest of my life is crazy organized--and even my research notes and hard copy edits--but this particular pile is, well... not.
You need chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star. --Nietzsche
I am now off to weed out the junk and put the decent sticky-notes to good use in birthing some sort of star. Hopefully not a supernova.
And by the way, hello again!

Lovely to have you back.
Yvonne.
Hello again!
Love that quote by Nietzsche.
Most gorgeous bedside table ever!
And welcome back!
They look a bit like autumn leaves. I think it's an inspiring pile that should birth a galaxy.
I hope you're going to post some photos and share some of the historical tidbits you learned!
Alright, glad to hear that the research is going well:) Mad scientists rock! ;)
Welcome back! Hey, all your notes are in one place. That makes you pretty darned organized by my standards. (And they look pretty, too!)
I agree with VR - definitely organized enough. Have fun with the rest! :)
Love that colorful, disordered pile! It's wonderful that the trip brought on this kind of creativity.
This week I frantically searched for a nearby sheet of paper to scribble down a bit of dialog. The only thing I could find was the blank white side-flap of my Proactive Acne Medication box.
Maybe I should start carrying a pad of sticky notes in my back pocket? Hmm...
I think your pile is incredibly organized! All of your notes are in the same place! When I jot things down they end up on little scraps of paper and most get thrown away before I can use them. Plus yours are pretty (and what an AWESOME bedside table--I love the cool tiles.
I love that pile! I bet the research trip was wonderful. Now, the real work begins. lol
I have a similar pile that needs organizing. Welcome back! I just came back myself. Can't wait to catch up with you.
I love chaos. I think I'm a little bit addicted. Nietzsche was diffinately onto something. I couldn't do half of my creative work without a lttle bit (ok maybe a lot) or disorder now and then. I think your pile of sticky notes indicates a very inspirational research trip.
Hey, Stephanie, welcome back! I love your star-shaped sticky notes. Very inspiring. And that table is gorgeous!
I love that your notes are star-shaped! And the supernova reference - grin ;)
